I put Aransas Pass Dry Dock on Corel 8 and cleaned up the paper edges also trimmed it to the matt line. It is from the collection of Manuel Hernandez.  I wish I had dated it. I know it's from around 1968- 1970.  One of the last of the Drydock series, using a pencil sketch I did in Aransas Pass, I magnified this picture and looked at the brush and ink work, the squiggling in the vegetation area the lines creating the wood surfaces.  This was an example of my best work I think.  Thick and thin lines showing ropes and cables coming off the boat are very sensitive.  I would say this watercolor marks my peak performance in watercolor.
